FULAFIA Remedial/Predegree Admission 2017/2018 Announced

Applications are invited from suitably qualified
candidates for admission into the One-year
Remedial/Pre-degree programmes of the Federal
University Lafia (FULAFIA) for 2017/2018
academic session.
The University runs various Science, Social
Science and Arts based degree programmes in
the following Faculties: Arts, Science, Medical
Science and Social Sciences.
2. Entry Requirements:
To qualify for admission into:

Remedial programme (Science): A candidate
must have at least three (3) O’level credits
which must include the following: English
Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and
Physics.
Remedial programme (French): A candidate
must have at least three (3) O’level credits
which must include the following: English
Language, Mathematics, French or Literature in
English.
Pre-Degree programme (Science): A candidate
must have at least five (5) O’level credits
including English Language, Mathematics,
Biology, Chemistry and Physics in not more than
two sittings.
Pre - Degree programme (French): A candidate
must have at least five (5) O’level credits
including English Language, Mathematics,
French, Literature in English and any other in not
more than two sittings.
Method of Application:
Candidates should pay the sum of N5, 500.00
(Five Thousand, Five Hundred) Naira only to the
following Account and present the bank teller at
the Centre for Foundation Studies, Permanent
Site of the University to obtain the form:

This was made known on Wednesday in Katsina by Mr Zaid Jurji UNICEF chief of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) in Nigeria when he paid a courtesy visit to Gov. Aminu Masari. In his words:- “The situation of sanitation in Nigeria is alarming. Nigeria is third worldwide when it comes to open defecation, one-third of the population practise it. “Nigeria is a heavy weight country, not only in Africa, but worldwide. “It does not go well to know that open defecation is being practised widely in various communities in a strong country like Nigeria. “So, we need to do something about that beyond the traditional approach to improve on the situation,’’ he said. He further mentioned that UNICEF would continue to provide funds that would be merged with counterpart funds from state government to render the much needed services.
