Question Of The Day : - “ If Nnamdi Kanu Is Your Father, What Will Be Your Advice For Him ?”
pronounced, Nigeria’s Unity and the
movement to actualize Biafra are issues that
readily come to mind.
For those who don’t know, Nnamdi Kanu is a
Strong Biafra activist and the leader of a
separatist group called Indigenous People Of
Biafra (IPOB).
A man who has decided to give a second trial
to the failed secession attempt that led to the
only civil war in the history of Nigeria.
Due to his firebrand strategies of using the
radio Biafra medium among other radical
moves against the Nigerian government,
Nnamdi Kanu was arrested for treasonable
offences on the 14th of October, 2015.
As a result of that he was detained in Jail for
more than a year and half before he was
eventually released on a very strict bail
conditions April this year.
Meanwhile, it’s still not clear how
actualization of Biafra will benefit the Igbos
supporting the movement but one thing is
certain, if the Biafra Republic is declared
today, it will be an automatic presidential seat
for the main man, Nnamdi KANU himself.
A seat of Riches and Power if you ask me.
As it stands now, like a cinema screen, all
eyes of every Nigerian security agencies are
on the IPOB leader.
Truth be told, this will not only pose a huge
threat to the Biafra dream but also expose
the lives of Nnamdi KANU and everyone
involve in Biafra to danger.
But then, is the cause to break up a country
that has been existing for over 100 years
worth dying for? That’s a question for another
day.
