“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads
us into the show.
The show kicks off with a long video
highlighting the epic verbal confrontation
between John Cena and Roman Reigns on last
week’s RAW.
John Cena vs. Jason Jordan
Footage is shown of John Cena debuting back
in 2002 against Jason Jordan’s father, Kurt
Angle.
The bell rings, and Jordan quickly takes him
down for a two count. Jordan takes him down
a second time for another two count. They
lock up, and Jordan takes him down with a
waistlock. Jordan keeps it applied, so Cena
fights up and takes him down. Jordan quickly
takes him back down with a waistlock. Cena
takes some time before fighting up to his feet.
Dueling “Cena” chants break out. Cena finally
gets out with a hip toss. Jordan immediately
takes him down with a fireman’s carry before
going back to the waistlock. Cena fights up,
elbows him in the face, and punches him
down. Cena covers him for a two count. Cena
applies a chin lock. Jordan fights up, but Cena
punches him back down. Cena takes him down
with a suplex before circling him. Cena
punches him a few times before whipping him
hard into the corner for a near fall.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Jordan
punch at Cena and connect with a belly-to-
belly suplex. Cena sidesteps a shoulder in the
corner and hits a pair of shoulder tackles.
Jordan flips through a back suplex powerbomb
and dropkicks Cena down for a two count.
Both men take a few moments to get to their
feet. They trade punches while the crowd
does the dueling “Cena” chants. Jordan goes
for a takedown, but Cena rolls him up with a
sunset flip for a two count. Cena then hits a
back suplex powerbomb before hitting a 5
Knuckle Shuffle. Cena goes for the Attitude
Adjustment, but Jordan counters into a roll-up
for a two count. Cena immediately transitions
into an STF in the center of the ring. Jordan
looks like he’s going to tap out, but he instead
slips out of the STF and applies the
crossface. Cena powers out of it and lifts him
up on his shoulders. Jordan gets out of the
AA and hits a pair of northern lights suplexes
for a near fall.
A “This is awesome” chant fires up. Jordan
hits a wild shoulder thrust in the corner before
going for a back suplex, but Cena counters
into a cross-body for a near fall. Cena
immediately lifts him up and connects with the
for the win.
Winner by Pinfall: John
Cena
Cena helps Jordan up and gives him a hug
before celebrating on the turnbuckles. The
celebration is soon interrupted by Roman
Reigns’ music. Reigns comes out to loud boos
while Cena smiles.
John Cena and Roman
Reigns confront one another
John Cena and Roman Reigns are standing in
the ring across from one another when we
return from the commercial. A “Cena” chant
fires up, but most of the crowd is just booing.
Reigns says he has one question for Cena: if
he is who he says he is, why did it take a 16-
time champ over twenty minutes to beat a
rookie? If Cena is as good as he says he is, he
would have beat him at the get-go. Instead,
Cena strung it out and crushed them after
making it look like Jordan had a chance.
Either that or Cena lied last week and proved
him right that he is just “a fake ass little
bitch.” The crowd loudly boos him.
Cena calls Reigns, “Debbie Downer.” Cena
would say he’s happy to see him, but he’s
disgusted by his entire face. Cena tells Reigns
to stay in his lane with using his brain
because they all saw how that worked for him
last week. Reigns is thinking about questions
that he’ll get answers to soon. Cena says his
zipper is open. Reigns says he busted it
because he’s “The Big Dog.” Cena says he
was looking for his balls, but he hasn’t got
any. Cena says he’ll get the answers to these
questions at No Mercy. At No Mercy, Reigns
will get beat by a guy who’s either lost a step
or has been stringing him along for years by
letting him waltz out here and make mistake
after mistake before chopping him down to
size. The only question Reigns will have is
“how in the hell did this happen?” Cena calls
him a “conceited, know-it-all golden boy” that
needs a lesson in respect. Jason Jordan and
Chad Gable scratch and claw to get
everything they have. A guy like The Miz, who
he despises, works hard week after week to
get what he wants, and he respects that. Cena
doesn’t respect Reigns. Reigns waltzes down
here and calls him a fake ass bitch, but the
only one living a lie is Reigns. Reigns says
this is his yard and he is the guy, but the
crowd doesn’t agree. The crowd loudly
applauds. Cena wonders if there is any room
in that clouded, conceited brain to see what is
actually going on here or does he have to beat
some common sense into him?
Reigns dares him to do it now. A “YES” chant
breaks out. Reigns asks the crowd if they
want Cena to beat his ass, and they loudly
cheer. Reigns says this is Cena’s moment to
back up his big mouth. Reigns tells him to do
it. Cena smirks and leans against the ropes.
Reigns says Cena is all talk. That’s why he
doesn’t respect Cena. Reigns’ music plays,
and he walks off.
Tonight’s main event will see Braun Strowman
take on Big Show in a Steel Cage Match. Last
time they fought, the ring collapsed. We’ll also
see Jeff Hardy take on The Miz for the
Intercontinental Championship later tonight.
-Commercial Break-
WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins
and Dean Ambrose will be on commentary for
this next match.
Heath Slater and Rhyno vs.
Sheamus and Cesaro
Cesaro will start against Heath Slater. Slater
quickly rolls him up for a two count, but
Cesaro quickly takes him down. Sheamus tags
in, and they double-team Slater. Cesaro tags
in, and they both kick Slater for a two count.
Slater soon takes Cesaro down. Rhyno and
Sheamus are soon tagged in. Rhyno takes him
down before hitting a shoulder in the corner.
Rhyno chops Cesaro down before hitting
Sheamus with a fireman’s carry neckbreaker.
Cesaro throws Slater out of the ring, and
Rhyno dumps Cesaro out of the ring. Rhyno
then turns into a Brogue Kick, and Sheamus
picks up the victory.
Winners by Pinfall: Sheamus
and Cesaro
WWE Intercontinental
Championship Match
Jeff Hardy w/ Matt Hardy vs.
The Miz (c) w/ Maryse and
The Miztourage
JoJo does the introductions in the ring. Jeff
Hardy gets a huge face reaction. It’s been ten
years since Jeff Hardy last won the
Intercontinental Championship.
They circle the ring, and Hardy rolls Miz up for
a two count. They lock up, and Hardy applies
a side headlock. Miz whips him off, but Hardy
shoulder blocks him down. Hardy blocks a hip
toss and catches him with a backslide pin for
a two count. Hardy rolls him up again for a
two count. Miz then backs away from a right
hand. Hardy approaches, so Miz throws him
out of the ring. The Miztourage surrounds him,
so he gets in the ring. Hardy ducks a hit and
clotheslines Miz out of the ring. Hardy goes
for a plancha, but puts on the brakes when
Miz and The Miztourage moves.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Hardy
fight up from a chin lock and hit a sit-out
jawbreaker. Hardy punches him and comes off
the ropes with a running forearm. Hardy
follows up with a sit-out front suplex for a two
count. Hardy then takes him down with
Whisper in the Wind for a near fall. Hardy
splashes him before going to the top rope. Bo
Dallas gets on the apron to distract the
referee while Curtis Axel crotches Hardy on
the top rope. Matt Hardy attacks Axel and
ducks an attack from Dallas. The referee
ejects all three men from ringside.
Hardy rolls Miz up for a two count. Hardy
ducks a right hand and comes back with a
Russian leg sweep followed by a leg drop
cradle for a near fall. The Miz manages to
counter a double leg drop to the midsection
before hitting a kneeling DDT for a near fall.
Hardy gets out of a Skull Crushing Finale and
rolls him up for a two count. Hardy avoids Miz’
patented corner clothesline. Miz avoids a
slingshot dropkick and hits the Busaiku Knee
Kick for a near fall. Miz starts connecting with
the “IT” kicks. Hardy ducks the big kick and
hits a mule kick followed by a slingshot
dropkick in the corner for a near fall. Miz rolls
out of the ring to recover. Hardy goes to dive
off the apron, but Miz clips the ankle. Hardy
crashes and burns on the floor. Miz rolls him
into the ring and picks up a near fall. Miz then
applies the Figure Four Leglock. Hardy
eventually gets to the bottom rope after sitting
in it for a few. Hardy hits a desperation Twist
of Fate, but Miz grabs the bottom rope to
break the pin. Miz gets out of the ring and
eats a nasty baseball slide. Hardy then jumps
off the steel steps to hit Poetry in Motion.
Hardy throws him into the ring and goes for a
Swanton Bomb. Maryse shakes Miz’ shoulder,
and he moves just in time. Hardy clutches his
back in pain. Miz pulls himself up and
counters a Twist of Fate into a Skull Crushing
Finale for the win!
Winner and still WWE
Intercontinental Champion:
The Miz
Footage is shown from last week’s RAW
Women’s Championship match. Alexa Bliss
defeated Sasha Banks clean to regain the
title. Banks has never won a title defense. Nia
Jax then turned on Bliss much to the delight
of the crowd.
At No Mercy, Alexa Bliss will defend her WWE
RAW Women’s Championship against Sasha
Banks.
RAW General Manager Kurt Angle is backstage
on his phone when Nia Jax walks in. She
wants to know how Sasha Banks got a match
for the title over her and says some really,
really awkward jargon. Jax felt the Women’s
Division trembling when she held the title up.
Emma walks in and says no one was talking
about Jax last week. The internet was buzzing
about her. She wants to start a new hashtag:
give Emma a chance at the Women’s Title.
Jax says if she doesn’t get out of her, it will
be “#PutEmmaInTheHospital.” They will team
up together tonight against Banks and Bliss. If
they win, the match will be a Fatal 4-Way at
No Mercy.
The commentators talk about the wars Big
Show and Braun Strowman have had.

Cruiserweight Match
Tony Nese, Noam Dar, and
Drew Gulak vs. Enzo Amore,
Gran Metalik, and Cedric
Alexander
Before the match begins, Enzo goes through
his usual shtick. Enzo says if you ain’t
cheating, you ain’t trying. Enzo says he knows
controversy follows him everywhere he goes
like a shadow, but controversy creates cash.
Enzo is a walking, talking check. Enzo says
he’s a little smarter. 205 Live just became one
of the realest hours of television. Enzo then
does some introductions for his tag team
partners. Enzo then runs down their
opponents, culminating with him calling Drew
Gulak, “Captain Underpants.” They’re going to
chew them up like Omaha Steaks because
there’s only one word to describe them: S-A-
W-F-T!
We join the match in progress to see
Alexander apply an arm bar to Nese. Nese
reverses it, but Alexander flips through and
takes him down. They hit the ropes and do a
bunch of counters before Alexander finally
takes him down. Enzo tags himself in, and
Alexander is not happy. Enzo ducks a
clothesline from Nese and takes him down
before walking on him. Enzo avoids some
punches from Nese before applying a side
headlock. Nese backs him to the corner and
gives a clean break. Nese hits a back suplex
onto the turnbuckle. Gulak is tagged in, and he
stomps him before applying a seated
abdominal stretch. Enzo fights up, but Gulak
takes him down before booting him. Dar tags
in, and he uppercuts Enzo before taking him
down. Dar then stretches him out before
tagging Nese in. Nese applies a torture rack,
but Enzo fights out. Nese quickly gets him to
his corner and shoulders him. Gulak tags in,
and Enzo dumps him out of the ring before
sending Nese shoulder-first into the ring post.
Enzo is pulled out of the ring, but he kicks Dar
down.
Alexander is tagged in, and he hits a pair of
clotheslines before elbowing Gulak in the face.
Alexander follows up with a handspring kick
for a near fall. Gran Metalik takes Nese out
before throwing Dar out of the ring. Alexander
and Metalik then hit stereo planchas. Enzo
tags in, thumbs Gulak’s eyes, and hits Eat
Defeat for the win.
Winners by Pinfall: Enzo
Amore, Gran Metalik, and
Cedric Alexander
Sasha Banks is preparing backstage when
Alexa Bliss walks in. She says she doesn’t like
the situation anymore than Banks does. She
thinks Nia Jax and Emma are jealous they’ve
never been champions. Banks says Bliss
needs her tonight. Banks doesn’t want Emma
or Jax in the match either because she wants
to beat Bliss straight. Bliss tells her to get
over it. Banks says they’ll be victorious tonight
and at No Mercy, she’ll make her scream
when she makes her tap out.
Finn Bálor will be out, next.
Finn Bálor addresses Bray
Wyatt
Finn Bálor makes his entrance to a good
reception from the Omaha crowd. Bálor says
The Bálor Club is in Omaha, Nebraska. The
NXT Championship used to look really good
around his waist, as did the Universal
Championship. The Intercontinental
Championship would have looked good around
his waist if it wasn’t for Bray Wyatt. When
Wyatt appeared last week in the Battle Royal,
he cost him an opportunity to challenge The
Miz. While he was victorious at SummerSlam,
you never truly beat someone like Wyatt.
Wyatt appears when you least expect him. The
next time Wyatt appears, Bálor will be ready.
Bálor has chosen his fate and is not worried.
Bálor doesn’t run from his demons because
sometimes he becomes them. If Wyatt wants
to continue to play games, then they should
play.
Bray Wyatt’s video flashes on the screen, and
he is shown from an unknown location. Wyatt
talks about the first time he hunted, but he got
bored because it was too easy. Wyatt put his
weapon down and started using his hands
instead. His bare hands judged them all, and
they were always guilty. Wyatt showed no
mercy. During those moments he had the
chance to either end their pathetic existence
or run along, he made a choice. That choice
defined him. Wyatt knew what his purpose
was. Bálor wasn’t victorious over him at
SummerSlam: The Demon was. The Demon
was his weapon, so Wyatt challenges him to
put down his weapon and come at him. Wyatt
dares him to make a choice.
Bálor says he already made his choice and
knows exactly what he is: he is Finn Bálor.
Wyatt says the question remains: at No Mercy,
will he run like a scared little rabbit? Wyatt
tells him to run.
Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks
vs. Nia Jax and Emma
If Nia Jax and Emma win, they’ll be added to
the RAW Women’s Championship match at No
Mercy. If Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks win,
the match will remain a singles match.
-Commercial Break-
We join the match in progress to see Jax slam
Banks off her back. Banks comes back with
some chops before trying for an arm drag, but
Jax doesn’t go down. Jax then body slams
her. Emma tags herself in and picks up a one
count. Emma puts Banks in the corner and
punches her down. Emma then stomps away
at her for a two count. Emma hits a low
dropkick for a two count. Banks elbows her
back, but Emma kicks her and whips her to
the corner. Banks rolls her up for a one count.
Emma takes her down and gets a jackknife pin
for a two count. They continue to trade pins
before Emma clotheslines her down for a two
count. Emma applies a full nelson, but Banks
fights up. Emma clubs her down before trying
for a suplex, but Banks blocks it. Banks then
executes a suplex. Alexa Bliss tags in, and she
clubs Emma before stomping away at her in
the corner. Bliss forearms her before eating a
boot. Bliss pulls Emma down by the hair
before punching away at her. Banks tags in,
and she stomps Emma down in the corner.
Banks hits a snapmare before catching her
with a running double knee for a two count.
Banks applies a surfboard stretch and keeps
Emma away from Jax. Bliss tags in, and they
hit Emma with a double-team suplex for a two
count. Bliss stands on the hair and pulls up on
her. Bliss chokes her on the middle rope
before taunting Jax. Bliss stomps her in the
corner before applying a chin lock. Emma
fights up, but Bliss slams her down. Bliss
stands on the top rope, but Emma moves.
Bliss gets down and grabs her, but Emma hits
a jawbreaker.
Jax tags in the match, so Bliss slaps her. Jax
wipes her out with a short-arm clothesline
before avalanching her in the corner. Jax
throws her across the ring before dropping a
pair of elbows. Bliss forearms her back before
trying for a DDT, but Jax squashes her with a
Samoan Drop. Banks breaks up the pin. Bliss
kicks Jax back and sidesteps an avalanche.
Banks tags in and snaps Jax off the top rope.
Banks comes off the top rope with a cross-
body block, but Jax catches her. Banks goes
for a sunset flip and moves when Jax tries to
counter with a cannonball. Banks tries for a
Bank Statement, but Jax avalanches her.
Emma blind tags in while Jax drops a leg on
Banks. Emma covers Banks for the win.
Winners by Pinfall: Nia Jax
and Emma
At No Mercy, the RAW Women’s Championship
will now be a Fatal 4-Way. Alexa Bliss will
defend against Sasha Banks, Nia Jax, and
Emma. Jax grabs Emma and gives her a
Samoan Drop after the match.
Renee Young is backstage with Braun
Strowman, who gets a big reaction. She asks
what he’s thinking about his first Steel Cage
Match. Strowman wonders what Kurt Angle is
thinking. He’s supposed to be facing Brock
Lesnar for the WWE Championship in a few
weeks, but tonight he’s in a Steel Cage Match
with Big Show. Strowman will destroy him and
slam him for the win. This might affect his
title opportunity at No Mercy, but he’s not
complaining. Strowman doesn’t see Angle
putting Brock Lesnar in a Steel Cage before
No Mercy. Tonight, he’s sending a message to
Kurt Angle, Big Show, and Brock Lesnar. No
matter where the monster among men goes,
destruction follows.
Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins will be in
action against Gallows and Anderson, next.
They walk past Elias backstage.
Anderson and Gallows are in the ring when we
come back from the break arguing with
Sheamus and Cesaro. They will stay at
ringside for this match.
Non-Title Match
Anderson and Gallows vs.
Rollins and Ambrose
Seth Rollins will start against Karl Anderson.
They circle the ring and lock up. Anderson
puts him in the corner and pretends to give a
clean break. Rollins ducks a cheap shot and
stomps away at him in the corner. Anderson
kicks and punches him back before applying a
side headlock. Anderson shoulder blocks him
after being whipped off, but Rollins soon takes
him down. Dean Ambrose tags in, and they
double-team Anderson before Ambrose chops
away at him in the corner. Anderson reverses
a whip to the opposite corner, but Ambrose
boots him back and hits a second rope diving
back elbow for a two count. Rollins tags in, as
does Luke Gallows. They lock up, and Gallows
throws Rollins off. Ambrose tags in, and
Gallows shoves him back before punching
him. Gallows punches away at him before
head-butting him. Ambrose quickly knees him
before Rollins kicks him down. They then
knock Anderson out of the ring. Ambrose and
Rollins take out Anderson and Gallows with
stereo planchas.
We come back from the break to see Gallows
applying a chin lock on Ambrose. During the
commercial break, Anderson hit Ambrose with
a spinebuster. Ambrose fights out of the chin
lock, but Gallows soon slams him down for a
two count. Anderson tags in and knees away
at him a few times for a two count. Anderson
applies an arm bar, but Ambrose fights up and
forearms out. Anderson quickly floors him with
a clothesline for a two count. Gallows tags
back in, and he kicks Ambrose down before
knocking Rollins off the apron. Gallows
avalanches Ambrose in the corner. Anderson
tags in, and they hit 3D II, but Rollins breaks
up the pin. Anderson puts him on the top rope
and punches away at him. Anderson goes for
a superplex, but Ambrose fights him off.
Gallows tags in, but Ambrose fights him back.
Ambrose jumps, counters a slam, dropkicks
him, and hits a Lunatic Lariat. Anderson tags
back in and goes for a back suplex, but
Ambrose flips through.
Rollins is tagged in, and he hits Anderson with
a springboard knee. Rollins knocks Gallows off
the apron before hitting a blockbuster on
Anderson. Rollins hits Gallows with a plancha
before getting in the ring to hit Anderson with
a Sling Blade. Rollins puts Anderson on the
top rope and knocks Gallows off the apron.
Ambrose then hits Gallows with a suicide dive.
Rollins hits Anderson with a top rope
hurricanrana. Sheamus and Cesaro try to
cause a distraction, but it backfires and Rollins
pins Anderson for the win.
Winners by Pinfall: Rollins
and Ambrose
Anderson and Gallows attack The Bar from
behind. Cesaro and Sheamus are furious.
Rollins and Ambrose are laughing at them.
The Bar then gets in the ring and brawls with
Anderson and Gallows. Sheamus gives
Anderson a Brogue Kick before they knock
Gallows out of the ring. The Bar stands tall in
the ring.
A really wonderful video showcasing all the
great work WWE has done with the children
suffering from pediatric cancer is shown.
Braun Strowman battles The Big Show in a
Steel Cage Match, next!
-Commercial Break-
Enzo Amore is backstage with Cedric
Alexander and Gran Metalik bragging about
their victory. Enzo is going to take them out
for steaks. Neville walks up to them
sarcastically clapping. There will be a Fatal 5-
Way Elimination Match on 205 Live tomorrow.
The winner of that match will challenge him
for the Cruiserweight Championship at No
Mercy. They’re friends this evening and fools
the next. Neville tells them to get some rest.
The ring crew is reinforcing the ring in
preparation for the Steel Cage Match.
Charly Caruso is backstage with referee John
Cone. She asks about being the referee of the
last Braun Strowman vs. Big Show match.
Cone says he’ll never forget that moment. He
was assured the ring was reinforced, but when
you put those two in a ring together, you have
to watch out. He’s just going to stay out of
the way.
Renee Young is backstage with The Big Show.
She asks for his thoughts on facing Braun
Strowman. Big Show has never faced an
opponent like Braun Strowman. He’s had more
Steel Cage Matches than Strowman has had
matches. He’ll shred the skin on his face and
break his bones. Then he’ll wrap his hand
around his throat and chokeslam him straight
to hell. He’ll walk out victorious.
Strowman
doesn’t respect him. Strowman wants respect
on what he thinks he’s owed rather than
what’s earned. Strowman wants to put him
out to pasture, but in order to do that, he’ll
have to break him. In 23 years, there hasn’t
been one superstar big enough or bad enough
to break him. If Strowman wants to send him
a message, he’s got a message for him.
Strowman thinks he’s the Monster Among
Men, but he’s the World’s Largest Athlete.
The Steel Cage begins to descend around the
ring. Big Show faces Braun Strowman, next.
Steel Cage Match
The Big Show vs. Braun
Strowman
The bell rings, and Strowman immediately big
boots him back and punches him down.
Strowman stomps him before slamming him
off the wall of the cage a few times before
avalanching him against it three times.
Strowman tries a fourth time, but Big Show
levels him with a KO Punch!
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see both
men down. They both get up. Strowman
charges, but Big Show sidesteps him and
sends him into the wall of the cage. Big Show
then sends him into the cage wall three more
times. Big Show shouts some trash talk at him
before sending him back first into the cage
wall. Big Show then looks at the top of the
cage and begins to climb.
Big Show stands on
the top rope, and Strowman gets up and
scales to the top rope as well. They punch it
out on the top rope before Strowman lays in
with some head-butts. Big Show falls and
crotches himself on the top rope. Strowman
tries to climb out, but Big Show shakes the
ropes so he falls and lands on the top rope
crotch-first. Big Show stands on the top rope
and boots him away twice. Strowman is down,
and the crowd is going wild. Big Show sizes
him up and hits a top rope elbow drop! The
crowd is going nuts. The crowd begins
chanting, “This is awesome!” Big Show finally
rolls over and covers for a two count. Big
Show begins to crawl and tries to exit out the
door. Strowman gets to his feet and runs over
to slam the door in Big Show’s face.
Strowman tries to leave through the door, but
Big Show stops him by slamming the door in
his face. They both get out and wipe each
other out with stereo shoulder blocks.
Big Show gets to his feet first and signals for
the chokeslam. Strowman slowly gets up, and
Big Show grabs him by the throat. Strowman
counters into a DDT for a near fall. They trade
punches from their knees before fighting up.
Strowman hits the ropes, but Big Show
surprises him with a Chokeslam for a near fall.
Big Show signals for a Knockout Punch, but
Strowman ducks it. Strowman goes for a
Powerslam, but Big Show slides off. Strowman
charges, but he hits the cage after Big Show
sidesteps him. Big Show begins to climb the
cage again. Strowman soon cuts him off and
climbs to the top rope. Big Show slams his
face off the top of the cage, and Strowman
falls down to the mat. Big Show tries to climb
out of the cage, but he takes too much time.
Strowman rips him off the top rope and
avalanches him against the cage wall. Big
Show keeps trying to climb, but Strowman
cuts him off. Big Show knocks him away, but
Strowman keeps coming back. Strowman then
connects with a superplex, but due to them
reinforcing the ring, it does not collapse.
There is a load groan of disappointment from
the crowd. Strowman taunts the crowd and
gives Big Show a Powerslam for the
win.
Winner by Pinfall: Braun
Strowman
Strowman celebrates before grabbing a
microphone. Strowman asks if they see what
he’s done to the so called giant. What do they
think he’ll do to The Beast at No Mercy?
Strowman says to Brock Lesnar that this is his
future. Strowman’s future is to become the
new Universal Champion.
Strowman begins to leave, but he turns around
and looks at Big Show. Strowman says,“It’s
time to go out to pasture, old man.” Strowman
then scoops him up and powerslams him
through the wall of the Steel Cage! Strowman
then walks out while referees run down to
check on Big Show.

takes him back down with a waistlock. Cena
takes some time before fighting up to his feet.
Dueling “Cena” chants break out. Cena finally
gets out with a hip toss. Jordan immediately
takes him down with a fireman’s carry before

elbows him in the face, and punches him
down. Cena covers him for a two count. Cena

belly suplex. Cena sidesteps a shoulder in the
corner and hits a pair of shoulder tackles.
Jordan flips through a back suplex powerbomb
and dropkicks Cena down for a two count.
Both men take a few moments to get to their

Knuckle Shuffle. Cena goes for the Attitude

Cena helps Jordan up and gives him a hug
before celebrating on the turnbuckles. The
celebration is soon interrupted by Roman
Reigns’ music. Reigns comes out to loud boos
while Cena smiles.
John Cena and Roman
Reigns confront one another
John Cena and Roman Reigns are standing in
the ring across from one another when we
return from the commercial. A “Cena” chant
fires up, but most of the crowd is just booing.
Reigns says he has one question for Cena: if
he is who he says he is, why did it take a 16-
time champ over twenty minutes to beat a
rookie? If Cena is as good as he says he is, he
would have beat him at the get-go. Instead,
Cena strung it out and crushed them after
making it look like Jordan had a chance.
Either that or Cena lied last week and proved
him right that he is just “a fake ass little
bitch.” The crowd loudly boos him.
Cena calls Reigns, “Debbie Downer.” Cena
would say he’s happy to see him, but he’s
disgusted by his entire face. Cena tells Reigns
to stay in his lane with using his brain
because they all saw how that worked for him
last week. Reigns is thinking about questions
that he’ll get answers to soon. Cena says his
zipper is open. Reigns says he busted it
because he’s “The Big Dog.” Cena says he
was looking for his balls, but he hasn’t got
any. Cena says he’ll get the answers to these
questions at No Mercy. At No Mercy, Reigns
will get beat by a guy who’s either lost a step
or has been stringing him along for years by
letting him waltz out here and make mistake
after mistake before chopping him down to
size. The only question Reigns will have is
“how in the hell did this happen?” Cena calls
him a “conceited, know-it-all golden boy” that
needs a lesson in respect. Jason Jordan and
Chad Gable scratch and claw to get
everything they have. A guy like The Miz, who
he despises, works hard week after week to
get what he wants, and he respects that. Cena
doesn’t respect Reigns. Reigns waltzes down
here and calls him a fake ass bitch, but the
only one living a lie is Reigns. Reigns says
this is his yard and he is the guy, but the
crowd doesn’t agree. The crowd loudly
applauds. Cena wonders if there is any room
in that clouded, conceited brain to see what is
actually going on here or does he have to beat
some common sense into him?
Reigns dares him to do it now. A “YES” chant
breaks out. Reigns asks the crowd if they
want Cena to beat his ass, and they loudly
cheer. Reigns says this is Cena’s moment to
back up his big mouth. Reigns tells him to do
it. Cena smirks and leans against the ropes.
Reigns says Cena is all talk. That’s why he
doesn’t respect Cena. Reigns’ music plays,
and he walks off.

time they fought, the ring collapsed. We’ll also

Rhyno dumps Cesaro out of the ring. Rhyno
then turns into a Brogue Kick, and Sheamus
picks up the victory.
Winners by Pinfall: Sheamus
and Cesaro
WWE Intercontinental
Championship Match
Jeff Hardy w/ Matt Hardy vs.
The Miz (c) w/ Maryse and

Hardy gets a huge face reaction. It’s been ten
years since Jeff Hardy last won the
Intercontinental Championship.
They circle the ring, and Hardy rolls Miz up for
a two count. They lock up, and Hardy applies

dropkick in the corner for a near fall. Miz rolls
out of the ring to recover. Hardy goes to dive
off the apron, but Miz clips the ankle. Hardy
crashes and burns on the floor. Miz rolls him
into the ring and picks up a near fall. Miz then
applies the Figure Four Leglock. Hardy
eventually gets to the bottom rope after sitting
in it for a few. Hardy hits a desperation Twist
of Fate, but Miz grabs the bottom rope to
break the pin. Miz gets out of the ring and
eats a nasty baseball slide. Hardy then jumps
off the steel steps to hit Poetry in Motion.
Hardy throws him into the ring and goes for a
Swanton Bomb. Maryse shakes Miz’ shoulder,
and he moves just in time. Hardy clutches his
back in pain. Miz pulls himself up and
counters a Twist of Fate into a Skull Crushing
Finale for the win!

Footage is shown from last week’s RAW
Women’s Championship match. Alexa Bliss
defeated Sasha Banks clean to regain the
title. Banks has never won a title defense. Nia
Jax then turned on Bliss much to the delight
of the crowd.
At No Mercy, Alexa Bliss will defend her WWE
RAW Women’s Championship against Sasha
Banks.
RAW General Manager Kurt Angle is backstage
on his phone when Nia Jax walks in. She
wants to know how Sasha Banks got a match
for the title over her and says some really,
really awkward jargon. Jax felt the Women’s
Division trembling when she held the title up.
Emma walks in and says no one was talking
about Jax last week. The internet was buzzing
about her. She wants to start a new hashtag:
give Emma a chance at the Women’s Title.
Jax says if she doesn’t get out of her, it will
be “#PutEmmaInTheHospital.” They will team
up together tonight against Banks and Bliss. If
they win, the match will be a Fatal 4-Way at
No Mercy.
The commentators talk about the wars Big
Show and Braun Strowman have had.

Cruiserweight Match
Tony Nese, Noam Dar, and
Drew Gulak vs. Enzo Amore,
Gran Metalik, and Cedric
Alexander
Before the match begins, Enzo goes through
his usual shtick. Enzo says if you ain’t
cheating, you ain’t trying. Enzo says he knows
controversy follows him everywhere he goes
like a shadow, but controversy creates cash.
Enzo is a walking, talking check. Enzo says
he’s a little smarter. 205 Live just became one
of the realest hours of television. Enzo then
does some introductions for his tag team
partners. Enzo then runs down their
opponents, culminating with him calling Drew
Gulak, “Captain Underpants.” They’re going to
chew them up like Omaha Steaks because
there’s only one word to describe them: S-A-
W-F-T!
We join the match in progress to see
Alexander apply an arm bar to Nese. Nese
reverses it, but Alexander flips through and
takes him down. They hit the ropes and do a
bunch of counters before Alexander finally
takes him down. Enzo tags himself in, and
Alexander is not happy. Enzo ducks a
clothesline from Nese and takes him down
before walking on him. Enzo avoids some
punches from Nese before applying a side
headlock. Nese backs him to the corner and
gives a clean break. Nese hits a back suplex
onto the turnbuckle. Gulak is tagged in, and he
stomps him before applying a seated
abdominal stretch. Enzo fights up, but Gulak
takes him down before booting him. Dar tags
in, and he uppercuts Enzo before taking him
down. Dar then stretches him out before
tagging Nese in. Nese applies a torture rack,
but Enzo fights out. Nese quickly gets him to
his corner and shoulders him. Gulak tags in,
and Enzo dumps him out of the ring before
sending Nese shoulder-first into the ring post.

down.

Sasha Banks is preparing backstage when
Alexa Bliss walks in. She says she doesn’t like
the situation anymore than Banks does. She
thinks Nia Jax and Emma are jealous they’ve
never been champions. Banks says Bliss
needs her tonight. Banks doesn’t want Emma
or Jax in the match either because she wants
to beat Bliss straight. Bliss tells her to get
over it. Banks says they’ll be victorious tonight
and at No Mercy, she’ll make her scream
when she makes her tap out.
Finn Bálor will be out, next.
Finn Bálor addresses Bray
Wyatt
Finn Bálor makes his entrance to a good
reception from the Omaha crowd. Bálor says
The Bálor Club is in Omaha, Nebraska. The
NXT Championship used to look really good
around his waist, as did the Universal
Championship. The Intercontinental
Championship would have looked good around
his waist if it wasn’t for Bray Wyatt. When
Wyatt appeared last week in the Battle Royal,
he cost him an opportunity to challenge The
Miz. While he was victorious at SummerSlam,
you never truly beat someone like Wyatt.
Wyatt appears when you least expect him. The
next time Wyatt appears, Bálor will be ready.
Bálor has chosen his fate and is not worried.
Bálor doesn’t run from his demons because
sometimes he becomes them. If Wyatt wants
to continue to play games, then they should
play.
Bray Wyatt’s video flashes on the screen, and
he is shown from an unknown location. Wyatt
talks about the first time he hunted, but he got
bored because it was too easy. Wyatt put his
weapon down and started using his hands
instead. His bare hands judged them all, and
they were always guilty. Wyatt showed no
mercy. During those moments he had the
chance to either end their pathetic existence
or run along, he made a choice. That choice
defined him. Wyatt knew what his purpose
was. Bálor wasn’t victorious over him at
SummerSlam: The Demon was. The Demon
was his weapon, so Wyatt challenges him to
put down his weapon and come at him. Wyatt
dares him to make a choice.
Bálor says he already made his choice and
knows exactly what he is: he is Finn Bálor.
Wyatt says the question remains: at No Mercy,
will he run like a scared little rabbit? Wyatt
tells him to run.
Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks
vs. Nia Jax and Emma
If Nia Jax and Emma win, they’ll be added to
the RAW Women’s Championship match at No
Mercy. If Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks win,
the match will remain a singles match.

before Emma clotheslines her down for a two
count. Emma applies a full nelson, but Banks

clubs Emma before stomping away at her in
the corner. Bliss forearms her before eating a

before punching away at her. Banks tags in,
and she stomps Emma down in the corner.

body block, but Jax catches her. Banks goes

Banks. Emma covers Banks for the win.
Winners by Pinfall: Nia Jax
and Emma
At No Mercy, the RAW Women’s Championship
will now be a Fatal 4-Way. Alexa Bliss will
defend against Sasha Banks, Nia Jax, and
Emma. Jax grabs Emma and gives her a
Samoan Drop after the match.
Renee Young is backstage with Braun
Strowman, who gets a big reaction. She asks
what he’s thinking about his first Steel Cage
Match. Strowman wonders what Kurt Angle is
thinking. He’s supposed to be facing Brock
Lesnar for the WWE Championship in a few
weeks, but tonight he’s in a Steel Cage Match
with Big Show. Strowman will destroy him and
slam him for the win. This might affect his
title opportunity at No Mercy, but he’s not
complaining. Strowman doesn’t see Angle
putting Brock Lesnar in a Steel Cage before
No Mercy. Tonight, he’s sending a message to
Kurt Angle, Big Show, and Brock Lesnar. No
matter where the monster among men goes,
destruction follows.
Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins will be in
action against Gallows and Anderson, next.
They walk past Elias backstage.
Anderson and Gallows are in the ring when we
come back from the break arguing with

side headlock. Anderson shoulder blocks him
after being whipped off, but Rollins soon takes
him down. Dean Ambrose tags in, and they

Rollins take out Anderson and Gallows with
stereo planchas.

applying a chin lock on Ambrose. During the
commercial break, Anderson hit Ambrose with
a spinebuster. Ambrose fights out of the chin
lock, but Gallows soon slams him down for a
two count. Anderson tags in and knees away
at him a few times for a two count. Anderson

cause a distraction, but it backfires and Rollins
pins Anderson for the win.
Winners by Pinfall: Rollins
and Ambrose
Anderson and Gallows attack The Bar from
behind. Cesaro and Sheamus are furious.
Rollins and Ambrose are laughing at them.
The Bar then gets in the ring and brawls with
Anderson and Gallows. Sheamus gives
Anderson a Brogue Kick before they knock
Gallows out of the ring. The Bar stands tall in
the ring.
A really wonderful video showcasing all the
great work WWE has done with the children
suffering from pediatric cancer is shown.
Braun Strowman battles The Big Show in a
Steel Cage Match, next!
-Commercial Break-
Enzo Amore is backstage with Cedric
Alexander and Gran Metalik bragging about
their victory. Enzo is going to take them out
for steaks. Neville walks up to them
sarcastically clapping. There will be a Fatal 5-
Way Elimination Match on 205 Live tomorrow.
The winner of that match will challenge him
for the Cruiserweight Championship at No
Mercy. They’re friends this evening and fools
the next. Neville tells them to get some rest.
The ring crew is reinforcing the ring in
preparation for the Steel Cage Match.
Charly Caruso is backstage with referee John
Cone. She asks about being the referee of the
last Braun Strowman vs. Big Show match.
Cone says he’ll never forget that moment. He
was assured the ring was reinforced, but when
you put those two in a ring together, you have
to watch out. He’s just going to stay out of
the way.
Renee Young is backstage with The Big Show.
She asks for his thoughts on facing Braun
Strowman. Big Show has never faced an
opponent like Braun Strowman. He’s had more
Steel Cage Matches than Strowman has had
matches. He’ll shred the skin on his face and
break his bones. Then he’ll wrap his hand
around his throat and chokeslam him straight
to hell. He’ll walk out victorious.
Strowman
doesn’t respect him. Strowman wants respect
on what he thinks he’s owed rather than
what’s earned. Strowman wants to put him
out to pasture, but in order to do that, he’ll
have to break him. In 23 years, there hasn’t
been one superstar big enough or bad enough
to break him. If Strowman wants to send him
a message, he’s got a message for him.
Strowman thinks he’s the Monster Among
Men, but he’s the World’s Largest Athlete.
The Steel Cage begins to descend around the
ring. Big Show faces Braun Strowman, next.
Steel Cage Match
The Big Show vs. Braun
Strowman
The bell rings, and Strowman immediately big
boots him back and punches him down.
Strowman stomps him before slamming him
off the wall of the cage a few times before
avalanching him against it three times.
Strowman tries a fourth time, but Big Show
levels him with a KO Punch!

We come back from the break to see both
men down. They both get up. Strowman
charges, but Big Show sidesteps him and
sends him into the wall of the cage. Big Show
then sends him into the cage wall three more
times. Big Show shouts some trash talk at him
before sending him back first into the cage
wall. Big Show then looks at the top of the
cage and begins to climb.
Big Show stands on
the top rope, and Strowman gets up and
scales to the top rope as well. They punch it
out on the top rope before Strowman lays in
with some head-butts. Big Show falls and
crotches himself on the top rope. Strowman
tries to climb out, but Big Show shakes the
ropes so he falls and lands on the top rope
crotch-first. Big Show stands on the top rope
and boots him away twice. Strowman is down,
and the crowd is going wild. Big Show sizes
him up and hits a top rope elbow drop! The
crowd is going nuts. The crowd begins
chanting, “This is awesome!” Big Show finally
rolls over and covers for a two count. Big
Show begins to crawl and tries to exit out the
door. Strowman gets to his feet and runs over
to slam the door in Big Show’s face.
Strowman tries to leave through the door, but
Big Show stops him by slamming the door in
his face. They both get out and wipe each
other out with stereo shoulder blocks.
Big Show gets to his feet first and signals for
the chokeslam. Strowman slowly gets up, and
Big Show grabs him by the throat. Strowman
counters into a DDT for a near fall. They trade
punches from their knees before fighting up.
Strowman hits the ropes, but Big Show
surprises him with a Chokeslam for a near fall.
Big Show signals for a Knockout Punch, but
Strowman ducks it. Strowman goes for a
Powerslam, but Big Show slides off. Strowman
charges, but he hits the cage after Big Show
sidesteps him. Big Show begins to climb the
cage again. Strowman soon cuts him off and
climbs to the top rope. Big Show slams his
face off the top of the cage, and Strowman
falls down to the mat. Big Show tries to climb
out of the cage, but he takes too much time.
Strowman rips him off the top rope and
avalanches him against the cage wall. Big
Show keeps trying to climb, but Strowman
cuts him off. Big Show knocks him away, but
Strowman keeps coming back. Strowman then
connects with a superplex, but due to them
reinforcing the ring, it does not collapse.
There is a load groan of disappointment from
the crowd. Strowman taunts the crowd and
gives Big Show a Powerslam for the
win.
Winner by Pinfall: Braun
Strowman
Strowman celebrates before grabbing a
microphone. Strowman asks if they see what
he’s done to the so called giant. What do they
think he’ll do to The Beast at No Mercy?
Strowman says to Brock Lesnar that this is his
future. Strowman’s future is to become the
new Universal Champion.
Strowman begins to leave, but he turns around
and looks at Big Show. Strowman says,“It’s
time to go out to pasture, old man.” Strowman
then scoops him up and powerslams him
through the wall of the Steel Cage! Strowman
then walks out while referees run down to
check on Big Show.
